J2EE platform, Microsoft .Net
Information technologies are nowadays based on web applications and components and our company is oriented similar way.
We use modern technologies as J2EE, Microsoft .Net and XML.
Integration of new components and existing mainframe application is necessary in practice.
We emphasis security and robustness of web applications together with the system performance.
We do take advantage of open source technologies that can compete with commercial products and drive final product price down.
We are also used to developing software based on clients requirements and wishes. In such case we choose technology and HW platform after the project analysis respecting customer needs.
Content management DocMe
DocMe system, partly develop by 1.PF, was introduced in European union as enterprise content management (CMS) and document management system (DMS). DocMe is modular and adaptable system allowing saving, converting and publishing documents for Web and other media.
DocMe system uses access authorization management and extern systems.
DocMe system is integrated into the MS Office (MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Powepoint...) but can be also used in another platform. DocMe system contains:
DocMe Administrator - remote administration tool
DocMe Manager - publishing tool
ReleaseMe - editorship support tool.
DocMe implementation consist of analysis, system deployment, support and service.
A Typical Project Life-cycle
The customer contacts 1.PF with their basic requirements and specifications. 1. PF, s.r.o. then prepares the following documents based on the basic specification:
VRequired processing,
Time-estimate,
Timetable with milestones,
Tentative price quotation.
The offer is sent to the customer by e-mail. A comprehensive system analysis may be a part of the package, especially in the case of larger components or entire Information Systems.
The analysis can either be a part of the project or it can be made within a special project. The actual development is conducted by a virtual team, which is composed of the employees of both the 1. PF, s.r.o. and the customer, when required.
In order to ensure the best quality, a test team is formed (again on a virtual basis) for each project. It is an essential rule for us that the members of the testing team are not comprised of any members of the main development team.
The final act is the delivery of the project to the customer, which includes Source codes, executables, programmer and user documentation. A test protocol may be part of the documents given to the customer. In web site building, installation to an internet host could be understood as delivery as well.
The support of the application is an integral part of the project life-cycle. A 24-hour hotline can be established if needed.
